ABOUT THE BAND

The FX Project is a hard working blues band formed in 2003. Never losing site of the early efforts of the masters, they draw upon the soul and passion of Chicago, Texas and the Delta for their sound. In addition to preserving the blues via clubs, festivals, concerts and "juke joints," the band has shared the stage with such blues greats as Joe Bonamassa, Tommy Castro, and Little Ed and the Blues Imperials.

Cornel Bogdan, host of "Tangled Up In Blues" said about the FX Project:

"To One & All: The FX Project...What awesome musicians! On the 'we're pretty' meter, these guys are a solid 1.5. On the 'bad ass blues' meter, these guys are a 9.5...and climbing!

I've been working with Fran & the boys for quite awhile. They are as consistent & professional as any band I've ever worked with! Have a gig? The FX Project will make it come alive!

I've heard a lot of so-called 'blues' bands try to handle the likes of The Allman Brothers or Freddie King. The results are usually a train wreck. Not with The FX Project...They turn classic cover songs up a notch. Any artist (living or dead) would be proud of The FX Project handling one of their tunes!

Give 'em a whirl. You'll be glad you did. These guys got "The Blues Power."
